About the Opportunity

​

Millennium is currently seeking a full-time, Construction Survey Party Chief to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.

​

Responsibilities:

•   Perform all tasks related to field surveying practices and procedures.

•   Consult with field consultants and maintain good working relationships while performing the task

    at hand and be able to adjust to changing schedules and requests.

•   Report to manager daily to ensure all work is moving at a steady pace and complete jobs in the

    expected timelines.

•   Possess strong values and work ethic and can work throughout Alberta for extended periods as

    part of a two-man crew.

•   Follow all safe work procedures as laid of in the HSE manual and meet individual client

    requirements.

•   A keen eye for accuracy and a focus on quick turn around are fundamental requirements for this

    role.

   

Education and Experience:

•   Geomatics or Surveying Diploma or equivalent experience.

•   Experience surveying within Alberta.

•   Well versed in all facets of Municipal, Legal and Construction Surveying.

•   Proficient using GNSS and Total Station.

•   Interpersonal, team, verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills are

    crucial to this role.

•   Experience with 3D laser scanner and Machine Guidance control files an asset.
